It is Monday, April 13th 2020. It is coming up on a month of sheltering in place and not meeting up with clients or other wine industry colleagues in a face-to-face setting. I miss the social interaction and the continued learning of the various nuanced challenges of making wine. That’s a bit selfish, however. So, as I think a bit broader and how the rest of the industry is impacted, I’m concerned. What kind of impact is this going to have? Yes, we’ll make it through this, but what will it look like on the other end? And, what can we do while we’re in it?
While thinking through these questions, this beautiful song from the Beatles popped into my head: “With a Little Help from My Friends”.
Over these last few weeks, I have wondered what it is that we, vinoEZ, can do to help. I kept hitting my head against the wall, but it is actually quite simple: provide vinoEZ for free for new clients for a few months while we’re all going through this. This will help wine companies with their collaboration while offering them a cost break in these uncertain times. This idea was inspired by a chat I had with Paul Mabray about something they’re doing over at Emetry. They’re helping out some wineries by offering free access to Emetry during this challenging time. This is allowing wineries to properly tap into their data and leverage it in a meaningful way (more sales!). So, I’m following his lead with this offer. It feels like the right thing to do and I hope it helps.
If you’re interested, simply fill out our contact form and let us know.
Please note that this will be a bit of work for our small team, so, we may be a little limited on how many new clients we can take on at once with this offer. So, we’ll be in a “first come, first serve” mode.
Stay safe and thanks for reading.
